Becky and TJ Navarro have spent their careers building businesses side by side, drawing on their combined backgrounds in events, hospitality, and construction. From launching companies to restoring a historic venue, they’ve learned what it takes to manage complex operations and lead with vision.Their consulting work grew naturally from those experiences, giving them the chance to share practical insights, support fellow entrepreneurs through challenges, and help create strategies that lead to lasting growth.
Becky Navarro
Becky is the founder and CEO of Pearl Events Austin, established in 2010, and co-owner of the historic Woodbine Mansion. Over the past 18 years, she has built a reputation for her creative vision, confident leadership, and decisive approach to event production and business ownership.
Her entrepreneurial drive has shaped Pearl Events into a nationally recognized luxury planning firm, with weddings and events featured in People Magazine, Texas Monthly, InStyle, theKnot, and Martha Stewart Weddings. In addition to producing unforgettable celebrations, Becky’s experience renovating and operating the Woodbine Mansion has deepened her expertise in venue management and client service. This breadth of experience has made her a trusted advisor to fellow business owners.
Passionate about design, leadership, and community, Becky brings both strategic insight and creative problem-solving to her consulting work. Outside of business, she is a devoted wife, mother of three, and active supporter of philanthropic organizations and local initiatives.
TJ Navarro
TJ is the founder of GPS Travel, co-owner of the historic Woodbine Mansion, and managing partner of Pearl Events Austin. Originally from New Orleans, he graduated from LSU in 2006, where he met Becky before the two relocated to Austin to begin their careers and eventually their family.
TJ’s professional journey began in the home improvement industry, where he served as Regional Vice President for the country’s largest outdoor remodeling company. In 2018, he and Becky purchased and restored the Woodbine Mansion, an experience that introduced him to the event world and gave him hands-on knowledge of venue operations and client service.
Most recently, TJ launched GPS Travel, a boutique agency specializing in highly personalized journeys for clients around the globe. His career across construction, hospitality, and travel has given him a wide-ranging perspective and a reputation for thoughtful leadership, strong operations, and steady growth. Today, he brings that same expertise to consulting, offering practical insight and support to fellow business owners.
Outside of work, TJ is a husband and father of three who loves creating meaningful experiences, whether at home in Austin or while traveling with his family.
